Team Sends - Summer & Winter 19/20

Our top 5 climbs of the last year

                                         Our Physio James on T-Crack (7B) at Cratcliffe in the Peak District

It’s been almost a year since the last ‘Team Sends’ post and we’ve done a lot of climbing during that time!

With our climbing coach Alex Hithersay joining our team last September the ticklist is considerably bigger this year compared to last.

Rather than list all of our sends we thought we’d give you our top 5 from over the last year;

5 – Master of Puppets (7B) Rocher D’Avon (Fontainbleau) – Fantastic powerful compression problem in the forest!

4 – The Neb Roof (6C) Shaftoe Crags (Northumberland) – First visit to Shaftoe and this was the pick of the bunch. We’d highly recommend the trip up north if you’ve not been before.

3 - Heroes – (7A+) Baslow Edge – Had to be on the lift just for the double toe hook roof move! Really great problem.

2 – Made in Sheffield (7A+) Houndkirk Tor – Amazing gritstone roof problem. Tricky to actually find it but well worth it when you do.

1 – T-Crack (7B) Cratcliffe – Had to be number 1. Great moves all the way. One of the best of its grade on grit in our opinion

During the current lockdown situation, it’s nice to look back on these climbs. We’re all doing our best to keep strong with some home training so we’re ready to get back out climbing as soon as we’re allowed.

Check out our youtube page for more videos of climbs from over the last year.

We hope you’re all keeping safe and well. Remember that all of our services are still running via video and telephone consultations so just get in touch here if you have any questions or queries.

Cheers!

James
