Diagnostic ultrasound is an assessment tool that produces accurate images of soft tissue, ligaments, tendons, joints, and muscles.
It can be used to assess the severity of an injury in acute conditions or to look at the condition of structures in more on going issues.
This can be a particularly useful assessment tool for climbers as the majority of climbing injuries are soft tissue in nature.
Diagnostic Ultrasound scans will be completed at the clinic using our own scanner during either a Physiotherapy Consultation with our Physiotherapist James Walker or our Sports Medicine Consultation with Dr Adrian Lim
